South Jersey Indian Association (SJIA) celebrated India Independence Day on 15th August 2020

India Day celebrations 2020 was celebrated by SJIA members and prominent members with the same spirit as it has been every year at the Atlantic City Boardwalk on August 15th in Galloway NJ. Due to COVID we had to cancel the parade. It was a grand commemoration. Mayor of City of Galloway attended the event.

It is to commemorate all those who lost their lives for freedom, and independence of others.

Thanks to friends that make it happened at very short period, specially Vishal Brahmbhatt, Jeyur Patel,  Amitbhai, Sam Pandya, Rama Bodapati  SunilShah, Yash Patel, Hariom Brahmbhatt, Khush Brahmbhatt, RiyaSomaya, Amar Shah, Jayesh Jha (Gayatri Pariwar), Chandra Ben (Brahmkumaries), and Kumon Northfield, and City of Galloway provided necessary support in logistics to make the event a success.

We hope we will resume our similar celebration as in the past at the Atlantic City boardwalk again in 2021.
